C3 Annual Awards & Dinner Banquet
November 26, 2011

We had a great evening at the wonderful location of the Glen Eagle Golf Club. The evening started with socializing, followed by a great dinner, with an evening of activities that included a silent auction, several awards, words from some special guests, and the evening's feature guest speaker.

Keynote Speaker

Captain William Fielding gave us an inspiring and animated story of focus under pressure. Having flown over 3500 hours in a helicopter in the Canadian Armed Forces, he gave us a look into his background and details of his experience in his second tour of Afghanistan. While piloting his Chinook helicopter, he was the first pilot since WWII to be shot down in combat.
Captain Fielding closed to a standing crowd – proud to be Canadian – and recognizing one of our country’s great heroes. Captain William Fielding

Inspiration

82-year old Earl Fee and 75+ Gordon Brockie are two perfect examples of athletes who continue to inspire the rest of us.
Natalie Adsetts-Adams, C3 Kids Summer Camp Director did an amazing job this past summer. We received financial help for the summer camp from several sources including the Rotary Club of Bolton, whose president, Tom Kitamura, spoke to us about common goals and our partnership for the summer camp.

Thank You!

Thanks for being a part of a world-class night. On behalf of the entire C3 organization, we would like to thank you for your involvement in the year, for your support on dozens of levels, and for making a difference in the lives of many.

For those who were able to attend our year-end supper, it was obvious the quality of people that you are involved with. Incredible people who are courageous enough to volunteer, donate, support, and attempt amazing things.

Our world is a much better place because of our collective commitment to always improving.

Thank You Barrie!

A card was presented to Barrie to thank him for everything he does for us all. He is our coach, friend, mentor, fellow athlete,
