Ryan Chan-Yaneff started triathlon in Caledon at the C3 Kids of Steel event at the age of six and he went on to eventually become the provincial champion by the age of nine. He then focused on competitive swimming with the Vaughan Aquatic Club for several years, followed by three years of competitive tennis. Now, at the encouragement of Coach Barrie Shepley, and local running legend Bob Knuckey, Ryan returns to his first love of triathlon, recently joining the C3 High Performance team.
